Michelle is deeply committed to her community. She is an active member of the St. Thomas Police Community Inclusion Council, the St. Thomas Elgin Local Immigration Partnership and she is the proud founder of the Latinos in St. Thomas Community Group. Through these roles, she works to foster equity, diversity and inclusion, support newcomers and strengthen community ties.

Outside of her professional work, Michelle values quality time with her family and takes great pride in giving back to the community she calls home. She loves connecting with people of all ages and backgrounds. She also loves Latin music and Zumba.
